The National Trust is in regular need of committed volunteers to generously give their time, expertise and experience to assist with maintaining its various activities throughout the state.

In return, you can extend your experience, refresh your skills, meet new people and give back to the community.

We are currently in need of volunteers to fill the following roles:

Conservation Cleaning

Help preserve Como House & Garden for visitors to enjoy for years to come. Being a member of the conservation cleaning team, you will help conserve Como House, both inside and out, contributing to make Como a welcoming, beautiful place. A regular commitment is required and training will provided.

Gatehouse Attendant

As a gatehouse attendant, you are the first point of contact as visitors step onto the property. You will be responsible for welcoming people, providing information, selling admission, answering phones and ringing up retail purchases. A regular commitment is required and training will provided.
